The Wallpapery is open by appointment only on Tuesdays, but open to the public for browsing Wednesdays through Saturdays. We welcome you to stop by the showroom to get inspired by wallpaper!
For customers seeking guidance in the selection of wallpaper and interior design of their residence, or to create unique and custom wallpapers, design consultations are available.
What to Expect
Design consultations provide dedicated time to speak one-on-one with a design professional about your project, show you wallpapers that suit your needs, and answer your specific interior design questions, such as: Is it the right paper? Is it suitable for the space, in terms of maintenance? Does it work with the furniture or the carpet? Is the scale right? How will the colours look in my space?
In addition to questions with respect to selecting wallpaper, clients often need guidance about the installation process, including the costs associated with installing it. At The Wallpapery, we can address issues such as the fees, the length of time it takes to hang, and how much wallpaper is needed for a given project, in addition to unique installation issues, such as what to do around partial walls, openings and slanted ceilings.
A list of professional installers that can be contacted for quotes can be made available to all clients who purchase wallpaper through the boutique, as an added benefit for purchasing through The Wallpapery.
Clients are encouraged to submit photos and a detailed description of the space to be decorated prior to design appointment to facilitate the consultation. All consultations take place in the design office within The Wallpapery boutique. At present, consultations are available on Tuesdays, but please email info@thewallpapery.com to find another time.
Design consultations are $250 for a 55 minute consultation, of which $100 can be used towards a purchase of wallpaper from The Wallpapery.
